Chelsea vs Manchester United
When the Premier League
restarts after the international break, the big match in round nine sees
Chelsea host Manchester United.
Chelsea are joint-top of the
league with 18 points from eight games.
Man United are eighth in the
division with 13 points on the board.
Jose
Mourinho after Newcastle
On Tuesday, the likes of the Times and the Sun
have joined forces to reveal that Jose Mourinho may be banned for the Chelsea
game.
Last weekend Man United came
from behind to beat Newcastle 3-2 in the league.
Two issues have since cropped up
about Mourinho’s post match antics.
Firstly, Mourinho is accused of
swearing in Portuguese. Secondly, there’s the issue of Mourinho’s cryptic
little finger gesture.
Will Man United’s manager be banned
when they take on Chelsea? The Times report:
Mourinho
is alleged to have said “fodas filhos de puta” which translates as “f**k off,
sons of bitches”, while making a gesture with his little finger.
The rant
could have been directed at those who have been critical of his management,
which includes television pundits such as Paul Scholes and Rio Ferdinand.
Mourinho…
could be fined or banned from the touchline for United’s fixture against
Chelsea, his former club, a week on Saturday.
Is there a manhunt against Mourinho?
If Mourinho is punished by
the FA for what happened after Newcastle, is this evidence that there is a
manhunt against the Man United boss?
Mourinho played the victim
card after the win over the Magpies.
