Manchester United suffered their fifth defeat of the
season in the Champions League last night as Juventus stole all three points
with a 1-0 success at Old Trafford.
Paulo Dybala's 17th-minute strike was the difference between the
two teams and United now go into their weekend fixture with
Everton in the Premier League desperate to get their season back on track
having won just once in their last seven games across all competitions.
United's performance against Juve
prompted Jose Mourinho to claim his team require further
reinforcements in January and his comments appeared to bedesigned to apply pressure to the boardafter the Portuguese
missed out on the signing of a central defender this summer.
Romelu Lukaku came in for particularly heavy
criticism after the defeat, while Victor Lindelof was praised for his performance and
was one of few players to emerge from the game with credit.
Following last night's defeat, our United writer Ciaran Kelly hosted a new feature for MEN Sport
with a once-weekly Q&A this afternoon, answering questions that have been
submitted by fans on subjects ranging from possible January signings to Alexis Sanchez's future at Old Trafford and whether or
not Lukaku should be dropped for the visit of his former club this Sunday.
