Zlatan Ibrahimovic is being linked with a possible return
to Manchester United as he joked about coming back to the Premier League .
The Swede has been impressing for LA
Galaxy in the MLS and recent reports have suggested a shock return to Old
Trafford is on the cards.
Odds on Ibrahimovic returning on loan to United in January have been slashed,
having scored 22 goals in 26 games for LA Galaxy.
But, one place he is unlikely to be heading is to the London
Stadium and West Ham report the MEN .
The former United striker appeared on the Late
Late Show with West
Ham fan James Corden who joked he wanted the forward to
make the switch to the Hammers.
But Ibrahimovic shut down any chance
of joining Corden’s club when he joked they couldn’t afford him.
“I’m here with my buddy James and he wants me to come to
West Ham,” said the 37-year-old.
“But they could not afford me. Let’s put up the viewers
for the James Corden Show first.”
Corden jokingly responded: “It’s
happening. We’ll figure it out. We’ll get the ball in the box with you on the
end... done. Come on you Irons.”
With Romelu Lukaku struggling for form the Swede has been
linked with a return to Old Trafford in recent months and odds on him returning
in January have been slashed to 7/2.
The Sun claim Mourinho would welcome Ibrahimovic’s fire power given
Lukaku’s dip in form.
